BreastScreen Victoria's mobile screening service will be right in the heart of Dandenong from 2-13 November 2020 to provide free breast screens to eligible Victorians.
For those aged over 50, a breast screen is the best way to detect cancer early before there are symptoms and when treatment is likely to be most successful.
We know life is busy and other priorities may get in the way of having your regular breast screen, but it's important to put your health first. Even if your last screen had a normal result, it's essential to have a breast screen every two years.
Over 9,900 women in the City of Greater Dandenong are due for a breast screen and have not yet booked an appointment. The mobile screening service in Palm Plaza, Dandenong provides an opportunity to have a breast screen in a convenient location with friendly staff.
You don't need a GP referral or a Medicare card to have a breast screen. It's with a female radiographer, and it only takes 10 minutes.
The BreastScreen mobile screening service has safety measures in place to protect against the risk of COVID-19.
Put your health first, and book your free breast screen today. Tell the women in your life over 50 to get screened too!
Book your appointment online or by calling 13 20 50.
