  • Selection Criteria:
    • A tertiary degree in public health/health promotion or a related field and well-developed level of general health promotion knowledge, expertise and skill with a focus on population screening • Demonstrated ability to develop public health promotions and/or behaviour change interventions using relevant evidence base • Prior experience in applying IAP2 approaches with real-world experience • Prior leadership experience of a diverse and professional team required to achieve performance targets and deadlines • Prior experience developing and implementing strategic plans, actions and reporting on delivery for Boards and Executives as well as the community • Experience working with diverse communities • Previous experience in managing research/interpreting data and providing analysis to inform decisions in a fast-moving client focused environment. • Current valid full Victorian Driver’s Licence, and willingness to travel in Victoria.
  • Position Summary:

    • Interpret and apply consumer-focused data insights, and apply best practice engagement methods to reach eligible Victorians to help us achieve our client screening targets?
    • Effectively lead a diverse, high performing team and liaise with stakeholders, community members and senior executives?
    • Lead and manage the development, implementation and evaluation of client recruitment activities? 
    • Work within tight timeframes across multiple projects and tasks in a supportive, delivery, outcome focused work environment?

    If this sounds like you, we’re looking for a motivated and passionate Engagement Manager to join the BreastScreen Victoria team in Carlton on a full time, 14-month parental leave contract.

    We are looking for someone who has successfully delivered complex community engagement initiatives with diverse communities using multiple strategies and lead and managed a diverse and professional team.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join the BreastScreen Victoria team and to lead exciting initiatives to increase awareness and participation in our screening program. 

    The work you do, will contribute to reducing the impact of breast cancer and save lives through early detection.
