Through our 45 statewide clinics, two mobile vans and central coordination unit, BreastScreen Victoria invites women aged 50-74 and other eligible clients to have regular breast screens.
As a population screening program, our service is for people without symptoms and targeted at those proven to benefit most from routine screening. We aim to find cancers when they are small and more easily treated.
Working as One BreastScreen Victoria Team, our network of clinics and dedicated staff put clients first to provide a high-quality breast screening service and experience supporting diversity and inclusion.

BreastScreen Victoria comprises the BreastScreen Victoria Coordination Unit (BCU) and the Screening and Assessment Services.
BCU is an independently incorporated association which administers funding for the screening and reading and assessment services, manages the centralised appointment registry, coordinates the Mobile Screening Service, manages client screening and assessment data, develops and reviews program policy, monitors service provision, coordinates special projects and supports state-wide recruitment of eligible Victorians into our screening program.
