Better healthcare access for women in rural and regional Victoria
In rural and regional Victoria, women and people with a cervix often face challenges in accessing essential sexual and reproductive healthcare close to home. That’s why we’ve partnered with the Victorian Department of Health to bring essential healthcare services right to your doorstep through our new Women’s Health Mobile Clinic.
Building on the success of our mobile screening service, our Nina van is now equipped to offer a range of additional services.
You can book a free 45-minute appointment with a nurse to talk about your sexual and reproductive health, general wellbeing, and get important health checks like cervical and bowel screening. This service is available to both adults and adolescents, providing care close to home.
What you can discuss with the nurse
- Contraception, including long-acting options such as IUDs and Implanon
- Pregnancy options counselling
- Sexually transmitted infections
- Cervical and bowel screening
- Menstruation
- Pelvic pain

- Bladder concerns
- Irregular bleeding
- Any other women’s health issue
If you need to see a doctor, specialist, or another service, the nurse can help guide you and provide referrals.
Our Women’s Health Mobile Clinic is welcoming and inclusive, open to all women and people with a cervix. If you require any assistance, such as an interpreter or mobility support, please let us know when you book your appointment.
